Platinum Racing Products takes pride in manufacturing 4G63 products and these superb billet 6061 alloy Vernier Cam Gears to suit the Mitsubishi EVO 4G63 platform are no exception.

These gears incorporate the unique PRP serrated mechanical lock as well as the standard 5 bolt friction lock, coupled with all titanium hardware they simply will not budge, as well as keeping rotational mass at a minimum (517 grams alloy outer with fasteners). In comparison, OEM static gears weigh 523 grams, and there is a lot more to an adjustable cam gear than a OEM pressed thin shell unit for example.

Our billet 6061 Alloy outer cam gears sport a natural colour true hard-anodized finish that is noticeable by the dark olive green appearance and will long outlast any of the decorative anodized finishes you may be more familiar with.

Adjusting cam gears with a blunt object and hammer are also a thing of the past as we include an adjusting spigot that clips on to your half-inch ratchet making the kit a dream to adjust. These cam gears are available in the FULL PRP 12 colour range (see options).

Centre alloy retainer and titanium main bolt are optional and sold separately as they are universal.

PLEASE NOTE: These cam gears are only available in alloy outer and come with titanium bolts for positional adjustment and fit the 4G63 Evo 1-9 platform.

All PRP products are proudly Australian made and carry a lifetime warranty.

PLEASE NOTE: These cam gears are only available in alloy outer and come with titanium bolts for positional adjustment and fit the following engines:

    Installation Warning

Please ensure you tighten the adjustment bolts as these are NOT supplied torqued. Please also remove the plastic adjustment tool (if fitted) before running the engine. Failure to do so could result in engine damage!
