JDC Titanium V1 Oil Cap | Mitsubishi Evo 1-9/DSM

Replace the factory oil cap with one of the original signature pieces from JDC Titanium. The JDC Titanium V1 Oil Cap is CNC-machined from a single piece of Ti6Al-4V aerospace-grade titanium and designed specifically around the factory Mitsubishi mounting system for a secure, precise fit.

Unlike multi-piece aftermarket oil caps, the V1 incorporates the lower locking collar directly into the titanium body. This eliminates the need for a separate screw or nut inside the valve cover while maintaining a strong, simple design.

Each cap uses an OEM Mitsubishi gasket to provide a tight seal, then is individually hand-polished and finished using JDC's proprietary cold-anodizing process. The center is precision laser-etched with the JDC logo for a clean finishing touch to your engine bay.

Installation Notes

• The V1 Oil Cap uses an OEM Mitsubishi gasket and a tightly fitting locking design to create a secure seal against the valve cover. 
• Each oil cap also includes a thin supplemental gasket to help achieve a proper seal on older valve covers where the sealing surface may have worn over time. If the OEM Mitsubishi gasket seals correctly, the additional gasket is not needed. If the cap does not seal completely, install the thin gasket together with the OEM gasket to help create a secure, leak-free seal. The thinner gasket should be installed in the cap first, and the OEM gasket should be installed on top of it.
• A new OEM gasket may initially be firmer than one that has gone through repeated engine heat cycles. Because of this, the cap can sometimes feel difficult to rotate completely into its final position when first installed. If this occurs, applying a small amount of clean engine oil to the bottom of the gasket can also help during initial installation.
